Innovation and nation building are two words which go in pari passu as one cannot be achieved without the involvement of the other. Innovative ventures lead to market disruptions which in turn lead to revenue generation, job creation, and ultimately economic growth and development.
But it’s not as straightforward, especially when you’re in a place that stifles your ideas and dampens your curiosity. When you’re in a place where ‘hope’ is an alien word for a select few. Where institutions which ought to be your backbone are the very ones chiseling your spine. In a place as such, you can either sit-back and complain with the general masses (which by the way, is justifiable), or you can be amongst the select few who hold on to hope.
For the nations of Africa to be transformed, Africans in Africa must believe in transformation. More so, we must believe in the transformative power of technology, innovation, and great ideas armed with a stubborn eagerness to cause real change.
Introducing Quanta: A Community of Entrepreneurs, Creatives, and Budding Change Makers
Quanta is a social enterprise with a mission to transform Africa through innovation. Our mission is born out of our passion to smartly address problems impeding the growth of the continent.
Problems which include but are not limited to sectors such as;
- Education
- Health
- Personal Finance
- Agriculture
- Housing
Some Africans are already leading these sectors for change with disruptive technologies but “some” is never enough. To truly transform Africa, all hands must be on deck. We must foster healthy competitions and collaborative efforts to push each other to become more innovative in our problem solving approaches.
What is our Goal?
At Quanta, our mission is to help audacious entrepreneurs, tech talents, and creatives build disruptive products to tackle Africa’s most pressing needs leveraging on technology and human capital.
We build our community around key stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, startup founders, startup teams, creatives, policy makers, investors, local teams, corporate organizations, tech talents and developmental organizations as well as provide ease of access to the necessary support such as funding, advisory services, access to markets, and access to infrastructure.
By doing these, we create an avenue for the entrepreneurs to focus on their strengths and not worry about the support needed to build and scale their startup ventures.
The future of Africa begins with all of us in her present. This is the beginning of our journey.
